Located over the river from Lower Manhattan, the views at this classy cocktail bar and restaurant are a big draw–you’ll get to gaze out across the Hudson to the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island and beyond. It’s a relative newcomer (2017) but it’s already proving popular with folks who like their cocktails with a side order of stunning vista. Plus it’s got a retractable roof, so there’s no problem when crappy weather hits.
The cocktail list is focused, rather than broad. Expect options including Under the Boardwalk (Sailor Jerry, coconut rum, pineapple juice and fresh lime juice), a Liberty Spike (Tito’s vodka, Aperol, fresh orange juice and prosecco) and a Garden State (Hendrick’s Gin, fresh cucumber, elderflower liquor and fresh lime juice) alongside a good selection of bottled and draught beers, and a decent range of wines by the glass.
The food menu is a mix of sharers (charcuterie boards, wings), big plates (think braised short rib with au poivre sauce), salads, burgers, and sandwiches. Come evening, the venue turns into party mode, with DJs. ‘Sunset Saturdays’ look great.
