Leave your burger pretensions at the door of this low-key bar and restaurant. With retro simplicity, the kitchen focuses almost exclusively on hamburgers and cheeseburgers (American cheese only). The charbroiled Angus beef burgers are served in baskets on sesame-seed buns with the standard burger fixings—lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. Chicken, BLT and grilled-cheese sandwiches are also available. Skip the forgettable fries and opt instead for a $3 can of beer from Butternuts brewery.
