The Hecho en Dumbo crew conjures the cantinas of downtown Mexico City, with live music and tequila-soaked boozing at this spin-off bar next door. Kick back with a curado (an infused mescal served in an old medicine bottle) and listen to tunes from Mexican indie-rock, electronic or traditional bands, like alt-folk outfit Rana Santacruz. Drinkers can also find Latin American wines and beers, plus creative cocktails, such as the Tres Vidas, which combines mescal with muddled bell pepper, lime and smoked chili. Jamones, quesos and tostadas crowned with simple toppings, like brined Yucatan chicken, make up the food offerings. The casual 50-seat space is outfitted with iron millwork, antique masks and prints from up-and-coming Mexican artists.
