Neatly tucked into a boisterous LES street corner, this low-lit, modern pizzeria offers a classy prelude to nighttime revelry. The pies, baked in a stone hearth over an aromatic blend of smoldering oak and cherrywood, arrive a bit undercooked, but ultimately succeed through bold flavor combinations; the Bianca wows with an intense blend of fontina, Gorgonzola, speck, prosciutto and caramelized onion. We also recommend a perfectly crisped calzone, with gooey mozzarella cheese, hearty medallions of eggplant and sweet San Marzano marinara sauce. Finish with a decadent chocolate tartufo before rejoining the rowdy masses outside.
