Scarpina Bar & Grill (CLOSED)

Chef Ricardo Cardona opens his third restaurant in as many months this week, following up Gabbana and Casabe Bistro Latino with this Latin-Mediterranean restaurant. Fusiony dishes include black bean "hummus" with chipotle, sofrito and Spanish olives, and scarpina (a Mediterranean fish) baked in banana leaves. Cocktails are similarly eclectic, with mojitos in flavors like kafir lime, pomegranate and kumquat; save your imbibing for the weekend, when the mirrored space morphs into a late-night party spot.
