Imported and house-made salumi, including sopressata and cacciatore, are the specialties of this Italian deli and café. Mozzarella, ricotta and the dried mozzarella scamorza are also made fresh daily, and the spot stocks pedigreed provisions, like Delverde pasta and San Marzano tomatoes. Hell's Kitchen lunchers can snag one of the Carrera-marble tables for a quick salad, pasta or panino on Pain d'Avignon bread. Look for the VIP (Very Italian Panini), which layers prosciutto di Parma, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, fig spread and arugula on ciabatta.

Hearty and satisfying sandwiches, including the Molise panino, with culatello, mozzarella, and peppers. You'll try to just eat a half, but then 15 minutes later the whole thing will be gone.

Absolutely fantastic sandwiches. These guys are the real deal. They always use delicious, fresh ingredients. It’s super important to me that a sandwich be made on really well-baked bread and these guys definitely know what they’re doing. It is definitely one of the best workday lunches available in the area. I normally go for the #3 Emilia Romagnia with proscuitto, mozzarella, greens (their site says Arcadian mix?), and pesto. It’s a sizable portion and I usually intend to save half for dinner, but can never resist scarfing down the whole thing in one sitting. Great price considering the portion size and high quality ingredients. Don’t forget to order an Italian beer or soda to wash the whole thing down!
