Southern Living fetes its 50th anniversary with a four-course feast highlighting the impact of female chefs in the South. Dishes like shiso-wrapped shrimp and catfish with grits will be tendered by an all-star lineup of Dixieland toques, including Ashley Christensen (Death & Taxes in Raleigh, NC), Kelly Fields (Willa Jean in New Orleans), Asha Gomez (Spice to Table in Atlanta) and Sarah Gavigan (Otaku South in Nashville). In keeping with the female-driven focus, master sommelier June Rodil will pour accompanying wine pairings, while Tennessee Brew Works’ Laura Burns siphons matching suds.
