Station LIC is a modern American eatery and cocktail bar inspired by an early 20th century train station as a nod to its location directly above the 7 Vernon-Jackson subway station in Long Island City (just one stop from Grand Central Terminal) and proximity to the Sunnyside rail yards. Very much a neighborhood “joint,” Station LIC boasts high ceilings, exposed wood beams and original brick walls combined with modern fixtures and oversized art to create a comfortably inviting space.. (A space that served as the site where Tom Cruise flung his final cocktails in the 1988 film “Cocktail.”)
