A loft-style Nuevo Latino eatery featuring modern art and bright orange banquettes may seem out of place on this gritty stretch of Myrtle Avenue, but we welcome the change. In a bacalao cake appetizer, the pungent fish was transformed into airy fritters, and although entrées were occasionally lackluster (the crunchy breading on chicharrón, a.k.a.fried chicken, overwhelmed the moist meat), a coconut flan was as sweet as the strumming of the on-site acoustic-guitarist.
