Don’t feel like taking that 20 plus hour flight to the land down under? Well, you don’t have to, just get yourself over to The Australian in Midtown. Whether you are there to grab a pint, have something to eat, or watch a game, the super friendly staff will make you feel very welcome. The menu has the usual bar type food like buffalo wings, potato wedges, burgers, and steaks. If you are feeling a bit courageous, you can always branch out and try some grilled kangaroo skewers, or kangaroo loin. Yes, I said kangaroo! For dessert order a Tim Tam sundae for a sweet and less furry taste of Oz.
Great bar to watch sports at in Midtown! When you enter you are greeted by friendly staff who are happy to help! We were there to watch the 6 nations early on a Sunday morning and everyone was in a great mood despite the early start! The breakfast was decent and the beers were constantly topped up. Can't ask for much more in a sports bar!
