The Churchill

Anglophiles can gulp Guinness and dig into fish-and-chips at this British pub, named after the legendary prime minister. Twelve taps dispense mostly U.K. beers (Fuller's London Pride, English Strongbow Cider), while the bill of fare reps the country with hearty plates, including Welsh rarebit and Scotch eggs (sausage-encased eggs). The cozy space is outfitted with an upright piano and a stone fireplace.

This two story traditional English tavern is quaint, charming, and serves fantastic food. They even have afternoon tea and Sunday roast. For an appetizer with some kick, try the buffalo chicken meatballs served with cool blue cheese dip. The bangers & mash are something truly English and consist of two juicy, pork sausages served with a generous helping of fluffy, mashed potatoes, and a rich, brown gravy. A delicious lighter main course is the warm kale salad which is sautéed in balsamic vinegar and topped with feta cheese and cherry tomatoes. Dessert choices include warm apple pie and sticky toffee pudding.
