This funky English gastropub functions best outside its native confines. While Anglo eats like fish-and-chips suffered from underseasoning, international fare including seared prawns with sweet-tart nam jim sauce excelled. The same is true of the bar: The classically British Pimm’s cup was watery and imbalanced, but an Old Cuban (with aged rum, mint, bitters and champagne) was a refresher worthy of a second round.
