Both locations of Danny Abrams's urban fish shack are cozily nautical in theme, though the kids' menu ($6) offers just one aquatic choice: house-made tilapia fish fingers, served with a green salad or fries. Other options include grilled chicken breast, also served with fries or a salad, and melted-mozzarella quesadillas. Color-in activity place mats and crayons should appeal to little ones of all tastes.

The happy hour is amazing and the service is always efficient and friendly. Even with the move to the bigger space, it still feels like a cozy neighborhood restaurant!
My favorite place on the Upper West Side, especially now that Popover is gone (RIP). The famous lobster roll is great, as are the oysters (get a plate of six different ones if you feel like testing your waiter). But we usually opt for the fish specials. Plus, they've just expanded, moving into the space next door, so no more need to get cozy with the table next to you.
