Catch the last few warm days of the year at the Pavilion in Union Square. This seasonal restaurant is worth visiting at least once in New York because if the great location and beautiful atmosphere. I do have to say though, I would not recommend the dinner-it's more of a good drink spot! It also has a somewhat scandalous history-some call it the most controversial restaurant because of a legal battle that lasted nearly ten years! While the restaurant had been approved under former Mayor Bloomberg, many community members were against and submitted a community lawsuit that sought to block it on the grounds that it represented an illegal use of public park property. Either way, it is nice to see it in use again after years of disrepair.
