The Taco Shop
Venue says Make sure to check out our Happy Hour, 3 Tacos and a Margarita or Beer for $12. Monday-Fridays 4-7pm

At this West Village taqueria, the menu is split into two distinct parts: tacos and “not tacos.” Mix and match the nine varieties of tacos—baja fish, chicken tinga, cochinita pibil, spicy chorizo and more—for just $3.50 apiece. You can supplement your feast with ceviche ($5.50), pork tamales ($5), quesadillas ($3.50) and, of course, guacamole ($4.50 for a small, $9.50 for a large). Then there are sides, like sweet fried plantains, pickled carrots and jalapenos and grilled corn on the cob with cojita cheese ($3 each or three for $7.50). Wash down your taco-centric meal with a bottle of sweet, neon-hued Jarritos soda ($3) in lime, tamarind, pineapple or orange. The happy hour deal might tempt Mexican food lovers even more: for just $12, you’ll get three tacos and a beer or margarita.

This place is amazing! I had the organic Margarita and the fish, beef barbacoa, chicken tinga, and spicy chorizo tacos- all to die for!!! Guacamole to start was great, I love the large hot chips and for dessert we had the chocolate tamale which was one of the best chocolate desserts I've had in a long time. Will definitely be going back!

Gratefully surprise by this place, Stop by with some friends for their  Sunday brunch special " all yo can eat for $20.00 (90 min) " add $16.00 for all you can drink margaritas and beer. Every item on the menu is on, very fresh and delicious, we basically taste everything. The big time favorites Barbacoa taco, baja fish taco, mahi mahi ceviche, grilled corn, pork belly taco and the flour less chocolate tamal. The place is small but definitely we will be back to try the happy hour special during the weekdays.

Totally excellent - meal tasted home made and the drinks are not from a mix. With a friendly attentive staff, who could ask for more.

Yesterday my friend and I went to The Taco Shop to try their margaritas OMG AMAZING!! I had the Prickly Pear, and my friend had Coconut. We order different kinds of tacos, we like Cochinita Pibil, and chorizo. I definitely come back to try all FLAVOR MARGARITAS..

Ok, I would like to think I'm not super picky when it comes to food (maybe a little) but this place was really awful. I went for the happy hour, which is a really great deal. $12 for 3 tacos and 1 margarita or beer and was extremely disappointment. I paid an extra one dollar to make my plain margarita mango flavored and they must have misheard me because it tasted like salt. Like a salt margarita, so I asked for 3 extra limes and managed to make it a salty, lime margarita. I got fish tacos, which I thought were pretty hard to mess up, but once again I was wrong because they were extremely bland. Like I used an entire bottle of green sauce to try and make it flavorful bland.

Not to ramble but I would suggest going to Big Gay ice cream down the street instead.
