Tortas, taquitos and small-batch tequilas are the focus of this 65-seat Latin canteen—outfitted with hand-painted Mexican floor tiles and distressed-wood shelves—near Union Square. Find eight versions of the Mexican sandwiches, including pulled pork with Chihuahua cheese, beans and chipotle, and a panko-crusted chicken cutlet with spicy black beans, Oaxaca cheese and avocado. Drinkers can sip on small-batch tequilas, like Casa Noble or El Tesoro, and margaritas, such as one made with Espolon tequila, muddled cucumber and serrano chilies, and lime juice.
