Time Out says

The whiplash-inducing, drive-by order-taking and serving style here can be off-putting. But the low prices and decent pastas make this trattoria an acceptable stop if you’re an NYU student looking for a meal on a low budget. Walnut-and-ricotta-filled pansotti, nestled in a creamy pesto sauce, is a reliable main course, but the real attractions are the desserts from Nasto’s bakery in Newark. The ricotta cheesecake has lovely lemony undertones, and the spumoni—a triple threat of vanilla, pistachio and chocolate ice creams—is a creamy finish.
