Van Leeuwen is a solid ice cream parlor. They mix traditional flavors and interesting ones. I am more of a chunky filled ice cream where their flavors are rich and less chunky but flavorful. I love that they have about just as many vegan options as they do regular. They cater to both crowds without taking away from the other! I tried the matcha vegan flavor and enjoyed it. I follow them on Instagram and they were out of the flavor I wanted, hopefully can make it back to try some others!

Definitely artisan! Very strong flavors, I was totally overwhelmed by the flavors so I tried a bunch and ended up with chocolate and it was very rich! It was good but I don't think I'd be back, I'm more of a classic ice cream gal.
