For a restaurant with a name that suggests contradictions, ViceVersa (pronounced VEE-cheh VAIR-suh) is one smooth operation. The sleek, serene design incorporates a long stainless-steel bar, dark-wood floors, and walls of cream and lime green. The menu exhibits a willingness to take chances. Calamari is sautéed with artichokes and served over radicchio salad; salmon coated in sesame seeds is garnished with horseradish sour cream and spinach; and ravioli filled with veal, raisins and crushed amaretto cookie is topped with sage, butter and pancetta. Theatergoers can savor prix-fixe lunches for $20.04 and dinners (from 5 to 7pm) for $30.04.
