The popular Belgian-waffle truck rolls out an East Village café. Savory offerings join the lineup of sweet toppings (spekuloos, maple syrup, strawberries): Combos like the 2nd Street Salmon Special (capers, lemon dill sour cream) and Wake Up, Grumpy (egg, bacon and cheese) are available only at the neon-accented shop. Wash them down with a cup of Belgian hot chocolate or custom Brooklyn Roasting Company coffee.

Like the other reviewer, I found myself at the Lincoln Center food truck. I decided on the Elvis (peanutbutter, bacon, bananas, drizzled with honey...o.m.g. forreal.), and I don't think I'll try any other combination because this had it all: salty, sweet, sticky. The bacon was a little underdone for my liking (and I like REAL bacon guys, just with a little snap to it, not that well-done-burnt-to-a-crisp crap) but other than that it was an excellent grab. The coffee is also phenomenal and soul-warming on a chilly morning.

There is also a Wafels & Dinges truck in Lincoln Center. This truck serves the best waffles and sweet snacks you could ask for, and makes the whole neighborhood smell soo good! They have ice cream, waffles, hot chocolate, coffee, etc. Simple, yet interesting, menu to choose from, and not too expensive for the quality and portion of what you're getting.
