The superb American eatery in the West Village has spawned a crosstown sibling in the East Village. The spot boasts more room—a small bar and a few more tables, plus some banquettes—but the important things haven’t changed. A chalkboard menu still advertises market sides—vegetable dishes, like luscious beets with toasted walnuts—which have acquired a cult following. The turkey burger on a toasted bun is still juicy and garlicky; and desserts—like moist carrot layer cake—are as satisfying as ever. The only bummer is the wait, though it’s worth it.

Great place for brunch. The cobb salad here is amazing and the service is always friendly and efficient. One of the best places in the East Village to sit outside on a Sunday afternoon sipping on a mimosa.
This is my go-to whenever have visitors. There are lots of vegetarian options, but they also serve mat as well. I love the four side for $15 option...you get a lot of variety in your meal.
Westville has one of the best veggie burgers in town, bar none. Its "market" offerings of veggies are also fantastic, especially the artichoke. The places is always packed because of its fabulous menu options, quality ingredients, large portions and affordable prices. The staff is very friendly, and you will always see a nice crowd morning and night. The space is bigger than the original Westville in the West Village and includes nice outdoor seating. This is many locals' go-to for a meal, whether brunch or a quick dinner.
