Zito's Sandwich Shoppe (CLOSED)

Get sandwiches stuffed with locally cured meats at this modern sandwich shop, from the owners of Smiling Pizza. Faicco’s Italian Specialties, Salumeria Biellese and Ottamanelli & Sons all provide the shop with its salumi, which is cut to order on a Berkel slicer and piled on Il Fornaretto bread. Make your own sub or choose one of the specialties, including chicken Parm, braised roast beef with marinated mushrooms and house-made mozzarella, and an eight-hour slow-cooked pork bracciole with provolone. Seven taps dispense local beers (Sixpoint) and wines (Long Island's Gotham Project).
