Eight years after opening its first location in the Meatpacking District, this blowoutcentric salon expands with a two-chair nook on the first floor of Macy’s Herald Square, offering only dry hairstyling ($20)—no washing—with a menu of looks based on Blowpro products ($17–$22). Make an appointment, or just stop by for the Beach Blow (waves and texture), the Blow Up (lots of volume) or the You…Only Smoother (sleek and straight). You can also get a braid ($20) or updo ($50), including ponytails, twists and chignons. During the 25-minute appointment, a stylist will listen to any and all hair woes, and teach you how to get the perfect blowout at home using the popular salon line, whose products include protective daily primers ($18), nonstick hairsprays ($20) and texturizing sprays ($20).
