But the Meatpacking District’s newest hair salon, Keratinbar, can change that with budget-friendlier keratin-smoothing treatments. The main service, which usually costs around $350, is 50 percent off. Or opt for special keratin treatments including K-Gloss ($175), a glaze that contains keratin and collagen to rebuild weak hair fiber, with glycerin to add moisture; and Japanese thermal straightening ($250) for long-lasting, smooth and straight hair. The salon also offers usual services like cuts, color and styling.
