Lisa Price, owner of natural beauty line Carol’s Daughter, partnered with hair expert Robin D. Groover (robindgroover.com) on this salon, located at the back of her Harlem flagship. The four-chair spot replaces a nail salon, and is dedicated to hair treatments and educating clients about their tresses. At your initial consultation ($25), your stylist will perform tests to track the health of your scalp. You can then apply that $25 as a credit toward services that best fit your needs, such as a deep-conditioning mask ($43) for dry locks that includes a nourishing steam treatment and a five-minute shiatsu head massage to stimulate hair growth. Mirror also offers cuts ($35), heat-protected blowouts ($65) and frizz-free curly styling ($65).
