Time Out says

Founded in 1987 by designer Jean Touitou, this popular French brand opens its third Manhattan location (the others are in Soho and the West Village). Touitou collaborated with French architect Laurent Deroo (laurentderooarchitecte.com), who has been with the company for more than a decade, to create the minimalist bi-level space using pale-oak and aluminum fixtures that echo the label’s understated vibe. Both guys and girls will find workwear-inspired clothing ($90–$2,350) and accessories ($30–$750) displayed on the first floor, while the basement is devoted to A.P.C.’s denim creations ($185–$275). Women will love knit pullovers ($355), chic parkas ($1,410) and suede ankle-strap pumps ($430). Men can snag rugged overshirts ($475), soft sweaters ($325) and leather ankle boots ($415).
