Alexis Bittar, who started out selling his designs from a humble downtown street stall, now boasts a Soho shop stocked with the standout pieces, earning the jewelry designer a cult follwing. He shows off his art-object designs in his trademark Lucite, 18k vermeil and semiprecious stones; all are handcrafted in his Brooklyn atelier.
