Upper West Siders can now shop this local designer’s eclectic baubles with the opening of Bittar’s fourth NYC store. The boutique is twice the size of the West Village, Upper East Side and Soho locations, and is meant to resemble a 1940s powder room featuring silk gray wallpaper painted with cherry blossoms and Art Deco lighting fixtures. Hand-painted neon taxidermy dispersed amid the statement ($65–$595) and antique ($250–$6,000) jewelry adds a humorous touch. We’re drooling over gold grapolite necklaces ($145), ruby butterfly rings ($95) and woven teardrop earrings ($135). Save up for a 19th-century Victorian padlock necklace ($500) or 1920s coral button earrings ($650).
