Following the success of a warehouse sale in Chelsea that was extended three times, the trendy basics brand opened this permanent discount store. In the large three-room space, you’ll find past-season items as well as samples and one-off productions. Items are similar to what is currently in-store but have either slight size imperfections or color differences. You’ll spot the trendiest items when you first walk into the shop, with women’s threads on your right and men’s on your left. Our favorite finds include ladies’ chiffon tees for $25 (retail $46) and dark cotton jeggings marked $40 (were $72), as well as men’s denim shirts tagged $20 (instead of $50) and tailored pants, chipped from $75 to $25. Go up a few steps to the undergarment room, where you can stock up on $4 undies (once $12) and $6 lace shorts (formerly $25). Toward the back, there are more casual goods, such as everyday leggings for $12 (usually $28) and tees ($8–$20) in every shape and color. We even spotted wool coats for $90 (were $180). Keep checking back, since goods are added every day.
