In 2003, Artists & Fleas first opened in Williamsburg, but thanks to owners Amy Abrams and Ronen Glimer, you can shop awesome vendors in Manhattan's Chelsea Market. Just like the original location, this version of Artists & Fleas features goods that run the gamut from art and design to fashion and vintage. There are more than 30 independent designers hawking their goods everyday, so stop by to check out our personal favorites such as menswear brand Curated Basics, baubles from Brooklyn Charm and ready-to-wear designs by Avalove.

I prefer the Artists and Flea in Williamsburg. If you're headed to Smorgasburg from the Bedford L stop, you'll walk right past Artists and Flea. You'll find the same vendors, if not more, at the Brooklyn location. It's a great spot to find little gifts and trinkets for friends, family and yourself.
I purchased a beautiful piece of wall art by a local Brooklyn artists and my favorite sunglasses by a local Brooklyn boutique. There are a lot of jewelry and vintage shop vendors at both locations. There's something for everyone. Even if you're not shopping for something, it's fun to mingle through the vendors and speak with shop owners.
The best place to find a gift for anyone! They always have unique offerings and the booths change, so you can always find something new. You can definitely find personalized gifts, and it's great to know you're giving a gift that is special...AND even better, you're supporting a local artist rather than a corporate giant!
