In 2007, husband and wife Daniel and Brenna Lewis started Brooklyn Tailors, a posh bespoke-suit service, out of their home studio in Clinton Hill. The demand from their growing clientele pushed the duo to open its first storefront, featuring custom-crafted suits ($995) and shirts ($195). All styles are designed by Daniel and created by a small staff of tailors, who take ten weeks total to build your dream suit. Choose from fabrics like tweed and flannel for suits or Egyptian cotton and twill for tops. Those on a budget can get the same luxe quality with ready-made suits ($795) and button-up shirts in colorful plaids ($155) and chambray ($155). Alterations start at $20, and take ten days.
