After tiring of slapdash Ikea and West Elm furniture, owners Kevin Taylor and Paul Johnson decided to open their own showroomlike space, bringing classic vintage furniture to the masses. After sourcing pieces from estate sales, flea markets and auctions across the tristate area, Taylor refinishes and upholsters the finds in an adjacent studio. Browse through the fruits of his labor, which span two collections of restored pieces: The higher-end Designer line includes a 1970s sofa with original Pierre Cardin brown-patterned fabric ($1,700), while the well-priced Flea Market collection boasts items like a ’70s atomic dome-shaped lamp ($125) and a reupholstered Baumritter sofa, complete with ’70s-style blue cushions and a dark wood finish ($850).
