Time Out says

This Australian brand’s sporty, colorfully accented ripstop messenger bags ($45–$130) are popular with bike couriers for their water-resistant, durable exteriors. Those same sturdy qualities apply to the full range of luggage ($65–$320), camera bags ($15–$285) and backpacks ($25–$216), which you’ll find at Crumpler’s sole NYC store (the original Nolita location recently closed to make way for a new retail concept, opening in June). Until last year, bags were made to order on-site at the gray-walled shop. Although the bespoke aspect is gone, the products have enough intuitive features to make them feel as if created just for you. To wit, large wheeled duffels ($265) contain water-resistant dry bags for storing toiletries or wet clothes, while rolling carry-ons ($220) feature easy-to-reach front laptop pockets. Other thoughtful design details include space-saving 40-liter lightweight duffels ($65) that fold up into a small pouch. You can also rest easy that your cargo will be able to withstand careless handling—every Crumpler model goes through a travel-simulation torture test, in which it’s dropped, dragged and pulverized multiple times. On the off chance an item does suffer damage, it’s covered by the company’s “til death do us part” warranty, which includes repairs and replacements at no extra cost. Mention TONY for 20 percent off all purchases through June 7.
