Although Ralph Lauren’s namesake brand is associated with preppy Americana goods, the company’s newest venture adds fresh, youthful men’s and women’s clothing ($40–$245) to its repertoire. Denim & Supply’s first store has a bohemian feel, achieved through vintage concert posters and weathered-leather seating. Expect to find an extensive collection of soft Japanese denim for men ($70–$345) and women ($80–$198) in both standard washes and funky prints. While jeans are the main focus, the shop also stocks up an array of casual-cool threads, including ikat-print maxidresses ($90), macramé tanks ($98) and leather-handle canvas carryalls ($125). Men can snatch up faded tees ($30), rustic leather belts ($85) and lightweight canvas raincoats ($185).
