Design buffs will appreciate the fully customizable furniture from creative director Frank Cafaro on display in this sleek showroom. While no furniture in the shop is for immediate sale (it’s all made in Kenilworth, New Jersey), customers can browse the house line of bedroom, living-room and kitchen furnishings ($475–$13,000). Chat with an employee over a complimentary cappuccino or glass of wine in the model kitchen while debating over the size and finish of any piece—you can even bring in your own fabrics for upholstery. Items such as furry bar stools ($375), stainless-steel beds ($4,400–$9,800), glass cocktail tables ($3,000–$5,100) and wooden desks ($2,800–$9,200) are delivered in eight to twelve weeks, but you can go home with accessories, including faux-fur throws ($750) and triangular bookends ($295), immediately. Cafaro believes customers should be able to see the craftsmanship in progress, so you can make an appointment for a 30-minute tour of the Kenilworth factory.
