Time Out says

Since its inception in Brentwood, California, in 2010, Drybar has simplified the salon experience by offering just one thing: blowouts. Six more Drybar locations opened along the West Coast, and it finally migrated across the country with the debut of an NYC location. Naturally curly-haired cofounder Alli Webb wanted the space to feel laid-back but still boast the trappings of a high-end salon. As such, all of the marble-topped hair stations are equipped with iPhone chargers and flatscreen TVs playing rom-coms on steady rotation, and patrons are provided with a glass of complimentary wine or champagne. That’s only the beginning of the boozy offerings: Each of the six signature blowouts ($40) are named after cocktails, including the sleek and smooth Manhattan; the artfully disheveled, beachy Mai Tai; and the voluminous Southern Comfort. Also on tap: shots of hair-nurturing treatments ($20) and scalp massages ($10). We also dig how you can book your appointments online 24/7.
