Estblished in 1697, Queens Country Farm is the longest continually worked land in New York State. Visit farm buildings, the greenhouse complex, livestock, fields, an orchard and an herb garden, then purchase produce from the museum’s farm stand, open from July through October. See if you can detect Queens County terroir in the summer corn and zucchini, or in the farm’s pasture-raised pork and fresh eggs ($4 a dozen). Every Wednesday, a museum farmer will be on hand to answer all your agricultural questions.
