Time Out says

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Tory Burch has scrapped her popular sample sale to host this massive charity event, partnering with the CFDA and Vogue magazine to feature half-off threads from American and international CFDA designers (we’re hoping for garb from Marc Jacobs and Rachel Roy). Tory Burch highlights include silk beaded dresses for $498 (were $995); merino-wool cardigans, nicked from $225 to $113; and patent-leather slingbacks marked $188 (normally $375). All sale proceeds go to the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City (nyc.gov/fund), and other local relief organizations.
