French Sole Comfort

French Sole, the so-called “worldwide experts on ballet flats,” has expanded its empire by adding a Lexington Avenue location. But unlike the flagship and outlet, which peddle French Sole exclusively, this 2,000-square-foot, bi-level boutique offers footwear by other brands, including Dana Davis, Cordani, Gabor, Gentle Souls and Think. Find commuter-friendly wedges, such as Ara’s woven-leather–and-cork sling-backs ($110), Cordani’s colored suede styles ($219) and Dana Davis’s leather sling-back sandals ($450).
