At this café and 12-tap beer shop, sample pints of brews such as the local Coney Island Sword Swallower or Green Flash IPA, before ordering a growler or bottle to go. Those who choose to linger in the cozy space (outfitted in reclaimed wood and metal tables) can snack on updated beer-hall fare like sustainably raised hot dogs, plus cheese plates and pretzels.

The first time I walked into Good Beer, it was a whirlwind of emotions. As a beer lover, I was in heaven being surrounded by so many bottles and cans I had never even heard of, much less tasted. But the sheer volume and diversity of their stock was a bit overwhelming. Kind of like when you're channel surfing and there's like 5 good movies on at the same time. Thankfully, here you can watch all 5 movies back to back. And take some movies home with you for later.

Good Beer is among my favorite beer shops in the city (the other being Top Hops on the LES). The employees are incredibly friendly, incredibly knowledgable, and make navigating that vast beer landscape a bit more manageable.

Highly recommend going here to try something you've never had before, because I guarantee even the most die hard hop heads will find that. Sample a few on tap, sit at the bar to enjoy a pint, and make your way out of there with a mix and match 6 pack in hand.
