Designer Jodi Arnold has been sewing since she was a teenager, and it has paid off: Within the past year, she’s opened a boutique on University Place, scored a collaboration with the Limited and opened this second location in Boerum Hill near her apartment. Scoop up her eponymous line’s bright racerback dresses with side draping ($297) and tops with abstract digitalized images ($176). Also available are indie accessories, such as Rabid Fox cast-metal jewelry crafted from dog toys ($120–$300), Kelacala Q tribal brass beaded necklaces ($105), and Sez yarn bags scored at an African dance festival and beaded in-house ($125–$150).
