The popular womenswear designer debuts his cosmetics ($24–$59) and nail polish ($18) with a store in a 425-square-foot space that once housed the brand’s accessories shop. Local architecture firm Jaklitsch/Gardner Architects (jaklitschgardner.com) redesigned the boutique with polished stainless steel and glass vitrines, mirrored walls and a black granite beauty counter featuring built-in makeup stations. Two steel 1960s Guy Lefevre console tables are used for testing out products, such as creamy long-wear lipsticks ($30) in 16 different shades, as well as volumizing mascaras ($26) and seven-color eye-shadow palettes ($59). You’ll also find a handful of small accessories, including colorful cosmetics bags ($35) with signature Marc Jacobs prints.
