Big-box off-price chain Marshalls has landed in Chelsea, bringing with it of-the-moment fashions and a sprawling footwear selection to rival most shoe stores, all at discounts of up to 60 percent. Housed in the same building as T.J. Maxx and Bed Bath & Beyond, this basement-level bargain depot offers a constantly rotating stock of current-season designer wares and trendy no-name incarnations. Though the merchandise flies off shelves quickly, you can expect to find items like faux shearling jackets ($50), wooden-soled clogs with fur trim ($35), men’s suede oxford boots ($60) and striped sweaters ($30). We’re also eager to stock up on the colorful array of leather mittens and gloves ($20–$40) in anticipation of the colder weather.
