Morningside Park’s Down to Earth Farmers’ Market

Running since 2005, this gathering of upstate farmers features country bread, apple cakes, fresh-pressed olive oils and artisanal pickles. Grocery store shopping is already a debacle, so you’re better off going to a green market like this one and build relationships directly with the farmers. Head over on Saturdays, 9am to 2pm.
