Time Out says

Everyone likes saving money, and it only gets sweeter when your cash goes toward a good cause. The two Queens locales of this vintage furniture shop are run by Betel of America, a nonprofit that helps get those who are homeless or have substance-abuse problems back on track. The shop keeps prices low by relying heavily on vintage and used furniture donations and by having residents from the program’s living facility work in the stores as one of the steps in their recovery. You won’t have to dig through jumble at this well-edited, retro antiques shop, where sophisticated armoires are cleanly presented next to paraphernalia from the ’50s and ’60s (a set of onyx dice for $30, anyone?). Prices ranges from low ($5) to high-end ($5,000) for bedroom sets, tables, chairs, sofas, coffee tables, lamps, mirrors and crystal wares (vases and jugs, glasses, fruit bowls). There are some decorative accessories to be had here, but the best deals come in the form of solid furniture, like a knotty-pine bookcase ($150), a marbled-glass ceiling lamp ($175) or a midcentury laminated-top desk ($220).
