A new Nordstrom has opened up in the Upper East Side, but prepare yourselves, this isn't the same Nordstrom that you are used to.
Nordstrom Local is a new concept from the luxury chain department, where you can't actually drop in and buy those boots from Sam Edelman you have been eyeing. This new experience is one of two hubs opening in Manhattan (the other is set to open in the West Village on Sept 27th) where customers can pick up online orders, make returns and get items altered. You can also receive styling consultations from professional stylists, get that broken heel fixed and have almost any gift wrapped with a selection of beautiful wrapping from Paper Source.
The hub is also a drop-off location that has partnered with Housing Works for any of your gently used fashion items.
