I love being able to support the local NYC maker scene. It's a lot of fun, and I always find awesome one of a kind things for friends and family

I've been going to markets to get my holiday gifts from local makers, and this is always a favorite! Makers offer a nice variety of handmade products and will go out of their way to custom-make that special gift for someone on your list. Do yourself a favor and check it out. And if you're not in town this weekend, the NYHC organizes also a week long at Chelsea Market 12/3-12/9, and at the Brooklyn Historical Society on 12/15-12/16. You won't be disappointed!

A great event to find unique gifts created by talented artists. Really looking forward to it.

I love these events! They are well organized and always offer a great variety of handmade products. Finding beautiful gifts is a breeze and you also get to chat with the artists themselves! It’s a wonderful experience!

I always find something unique for myself or my friends at their events. Looking forward to it!

Hands down one of the best holiday markets of the season - exceptional handcrafted goods, the real deal!  I always look forward to finding amazing, unique gifts.

I like Handmade Cavalcade! I usually can find something unique for the gifts... can't wait to shop again!

I love the markets put on by the Handmade Cavalcade. It a great opportunity to pick up unique items and I get to support handmade goods. It's a win-win all around.

The Handmade Cavalcade is always one of the greatest markets in NY. It's a great opportunity to support some great small businesses, and also get lots of well made and unique crafts, either as gifts or treats for yourself!

It is always good to bet on the local, the artisan, our own, we continue to support our people with their good work and their trade, so we grow all supporting each other, for more success for NYC team of Etsy Sellers!

This is a great market, run by the local NYC team of Etsy sellers (known as the NY Handmade Collective). They always have plenty of unique handmade items for everyone on your shopping list! It's a must-visit for me.

I have attended this for the last several years...love shopping Etsy in person and meeting local sellers!

A great group of artisans with a wide range of crafts. One of the best stops in NYC with holidays close by!

Love these markets every year. Really well curated with lots of options for holiday gift shopping and organized by local makers!

So many more interesting options than you find in stores or at the bigger "craft markets" where independent makers can't afford to participate.

I'm a big fan of these guys and have been for a long time. Looking forward to it!

I always love this market; I consistently find fantastic, unique gifts and it's really cool to know they're handmade by local artists.

Their markets have always been free in all my years of going, and they are the real deal in terms of it all being cool handmade products by locals and not weird, cheap mass produced stuff from overseas. They have a good variety too. I'm lazy, so one stop shop for all is the best! Sometimes they have drinks and treats too. That varies from year to year.

This is my favorite market of the year. I love supporting the local makers of NYC!

Why do we have to pay entry to shop?  Vendors have to pay to sell.  This is a racket!
