Designer Judson Harmon ditched his private showroom to join the burgeoning Lower East Side retail scene, creating a space for avant-garde unisex apparel ($50–$3,200) from his own line and those that reflect his style, such as Skingraft and martinMARTIN. NYC artist Jason Akira Somma’s androgynous mannequin installation takes center stage; its face features a camera that projects images of shoppers onto a video screen. Industrial pipes and black furnishings complement the haute street looks. Snag Skingraft leather pants with removable skirt panels ($868) and Heather Lawton asymmetrical sand-washed silk dresses ($815). Hit the streets in Victor Osborne suede-and-lambskin cadet hats ($180) and Odd Lord of the Rings–inspired terry-cloth coats with mesh overlay ($2,316).
