Brooklyn native Rob Norman has designed menswear for brands such as Nautica and Izod, and he opens a brick-and-mortar shop for his own label, dedicated to honoring his beloved borough. Norman makes casual streetwear ($28–$35)—mostly T-shirts—for men and women that reflects the individuality of the designer’s hometown. Highlights for guys include bright Pop Art–inspired tees ($28) and styles screenprinted with the brand’s United States of Brooklyn logo ($28). Ladies will find cheeky "J’adore Brookyn" varieties ($28) and leopard-print versions ($28). Check out the small collection of unisex accessories ($35–$50), including colorful baseball hats ($35–$45) and nylon duffel bags ($45–$50). Once you’re shopped out, hit up the in-store Twisted Lemonade Factory stand. Sidle up to the bar and enjoy a classic lemonade ($3–$6) or pineapple-and-mint drink ($4) while watching Kings County–centric videos screened from the film projector.
