Adidas’s sophisticated-preppy sister brand, SLVR, has a second NYC shop (the other store is in Soho). The modern space has gray walls and silver metal displays that complement the line’s sleek sportswear-meets–New England aesthetic. Sorry, ladies, you’ll find only the men’s collection here, including varsity jackets ($130), bomber-style windbreakers ($150) and striped crewneck tees ($55)—though you may want to “borrow” your beau’s clothes. Linen cargo pants ($120), seersucker blazers ($150) and long-sleeved V-neck sweaters ($110) are trendy staples. And of course, there are shoes, but only a select few designs, including simple all-white sneakers ($150).
